After All is Said and Done

What Will Be Said?

Monday’s Prompt: When all is said and done, will you have said more than what you’ve done, or less?

As I embark upon this new phase of my life, my vision has been exceptionally clear. After all is said and done, I would like to know that I accomplished what I was sent here to do.

I know that I was sent here to impact change and to inspire others. Each day as I open my eyes to greet the morning, this is what I feel deep in my soul. Unfortunately, at the end of the road on this journey, I would probably say less about what I have done while having this human experience.

I know this because I have always been that way, the silent storm. Silent because my voice will not be the loudest telling of my accomplishments, but I know that others will recognize my value, while I humbly downplay the magnitude of what I achieved.

A storm because whatever I do will pack a big punch and will be filled with passion because I know I would have put 100% of my effort into it. Here’s an example of what I mean.

I don’t know if many of you know this, but I earned Top Writer status in Poetry after being on Medium for a few months. This is the first time I am making mention of it in my writing. So, unless you have gone to the “About” section on my page, you wouldn’t have known of this milestone. I worked my butt off to gain the title, but once it happened, I silently celebrated the victory; it felt good.

If you know me in my personal life, I am not the person to scream something like that from the top of the mountain. I equated it to getting good…
