Learn to Find Best Version of Yourself.

Learning means to incorporate something in your life by observing your surroundings. It is a life long process which never ends, even in our 40’s we can learn new things. e.g. my mother learned how to operate a smartphone and she is discovering new features as she is using it on daily basis. So, life never stops and so did the leaning.

Being a lady, the biggest challenge that I faced throughout my life was to seek education and to speak more confidently in front of groups and with male gender in particular.

Education is a basic necessity but in my region of the world people use to talk a lot about girls seeking education. According to them, females are only there to be housewives and to raise the children, but I am very fortunate that I have such good parents who supported me through thick and thin. E.g. my father used to pick and drop me to my school, college and even now university as it is not easy for females to go out on their own in here.

Public speaking is something im which I wasn’t good enough as compare to how much I want to be but not now. After joining Amal Academy, I have improved a lot. I do not get confuse while giving opinions, I am no more afraid to give suggestions to anyone, I enjoy being in a gathering, always in search of an opportunity to speak and sometimes take the step forward to speak. Moreover, Amal Ambassadorship have also proven to be fruitful in this regard, meeting new people, convincing them, telling them about the pros of this institution is a lot fun and have so much learning in it. It has polished my skills to a greater extent. All this was not possible without Amal, they guided and encouraged me so well that I have achieved all this.

As stated in the course, “Good happen to those who try” was, is and will be my way of living. Because only those people can flourish in this dynamic and challenging environment who have the guts, ability and determination to do something. Moreover, being a Muslim, it is our firm belief that, “God helps those who help themselves” so even the Allah Almighty will not help us until we take a step for ourselves and it is one of the core teachings of Amal, Just Start. In addition to this, the blend of diffuse and focus thinking can help us to broaden our thinking perspective and can generate ideas that we can not do while just focusing on things.

Being in the field of Science, the combination of focus and diffuse thinking can help me a lot because I am aiming for the field of research and it can do a lot for me. Moreover, to take out routine tasks on time I am already using the Pomodoro technique and it has made my life easier. I hope that using all those tips learned from the course I can do myself good and can do a lot better at work and in studies.
