2020 Salute to Armed Forces Day

Major League Baseball has once again teamed up with all 30 clubs to support active duty military, veterans, and military families with funding for transition services, mental health, and quality of life programming through the military community grants program.

The Seattle Mariners are pleased to recognize two worthy nonprofit organizations in our community, the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation and Wear Blue: Run to Remember, with $5,000 military community grants to help benefit our service members, veterans, and military families.

The mission of the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation is to help veterans and first responders throughout the pacific northwest access, effective, long-term solutions to transform post-traumatic stress into post-traumatic growth.

Wear Blue: Run to Remember unites and supports military and their families, veterans, gold star families, and civilians through active remembrance and meaningful relationships to motivate and empower individuals to healthier, more inspired living.
